Inaugural Conference – 1st edition!

Claudine Neyen (Student Coordinator, Sciences) speaks.

– What’s the point of this conference?
The conference’s aim is to bring together the entire community of PhD students and PIs and behind-the-scenes actors, regardless of program or faculty affiliation.

– Okay. And what’s the agenda?
The vice-deans will give a quick tour of the current school, including why it came to be in the first place. Then the 6 program directors will jump on stage one by one to tell us in two slides what their program does, scientifically and socially. And finally we’ll see some of the exciting science being done in both faculties, from the PI and the student perspective.

– Any social activity after that?
Of course! After this much talk, the apéro will be most welcome – please stay and have a chat with your colleagues, get to know new ones, and enjoy!

If you have not signed up yet, do so right now: deadline Feb 28th – essential to make sure there is enough wine…
